Summer Church Worship
Sundays at 9:30am
Throughout the summer, we are gathering on Sundays for a combined church service! Worship will include a sermon, hymn singing, Children’s Time, and other fun ways to be engaged with the service. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, and all are welcome to take communion. There is no Education Hour during the summer, however that will resume Labor Day weekend along with the regular 8:30am and 10:45am services. Sunday worship is live-streamed on our Facebook page.

What should I expect at worship?
A fun, traditional service in a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful music on piano and organ. We are an open and affirming congregation, a member of the reconciling network, and we welcome folks of all ages and identities. Come as you are–however you’d like to dress, with whoever you’d like to bring, in whatever life circumstances you find yourself.
What about children?
Children are always welcome in worship! For children and parents who prefer it, there is a kids’ area in the parlor area just outside the sanctuary with toys and activities. We are also happy to offer nursery care on Sundays, which is available starting at 10:30am during the normal worship schedule.
When is communion served?
First Sunday of the month. Rockbrook UMC serves an OPEN TABLE, which means anyone and everyone is welcome to partake. Jesus loves everyone and gave of himself indiscriminately. We believe we are called to give the body of Jesus just as freely.
