Worship with Us!

Normal Worship Schedule (Labor Day Through June)

Early Bird Service - Sunday, 8:30am

An early worship opportunity in an intimate setting. This is a brief yet inspiring service
with piano music that lasts about 45 minutes.  The Praise Band plays a variety of
contemporary songs
twice a month.  Communion is the first Sunday of the month.

Traditional Worship - Sunday, 10:45am

An intentional worship opportunity where we sing hymns, enjoy organ music, and
take in a variety of music led by our talented Chancel Choir. We also have a Children’s
Message each Sunday, led by our Children’s Director. This service is live streamed on
our Facebook page and recorded for YouTube.

Summer Schedule (July through Labor Day)

Traditional Worship Service - Sunday, 9:30am

Just like our regular Traditional Worship Service, featuring the whole congregation!

And maybe you are wondering...

What should I expect at worship?
A fun, traditional service in a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful music on piano and organ. We are an open and affirming congregation, a member of the reconciling network, and we welcome folks of all ages and identities. Come as you are–however you’d like to dress, with whoever you’d like to bring, in whatever life circumstances you find yourself.

What about children?
Children are always welcome in worship! For children and parents who prefer it, there is a kids’ area in the parlor area just outside the sanctuary with toys and activities. We are currently working on a nursery as well, and will have more details when it is ready.

When is communion served?
First Sunday of the month. Rockbrook UMC serves an OPEN TABLE, which means anyone and everyone is welcome to partake. Jesus loves everyone and gave of himself indiscriminately. We believe we are called to give the body of Jesus just as freely.
