Children's Ministry
Children are important at Rockbrook UMC! From birth to 6th grade, we strive to nurture their faith in our children's ministry.
Children in Worship
We welcome children in our worship services!!
Rockbook offers a special children’s time in our 10:45am service. We also invite children to be active participants in worship with the Sunday school choir, acolyting, Christmas program, Palm Sunday processional, and VBS program.
Sunday School
9:30-10:30am, Lower level (meets Labor Day – June)
We invite children to Sunday school classes for ages 3 through 6th grade. During this time, children will get music, scripture-based lessons, and activities in both large and small group settings. Small groups are based on age.
Each fall, Rockbrook UMC gifts each new preschooler and 2nd grader with a special, age-appropriate Bible.
Special Activities
We like to celebrate our faith! Annual occasions include a Back to School BBQ, Christmas Program and Party, Palm Sunday Processional, Easter Egg Hunt, and Vacation Bible School. We also regularly organize other special activities, such as Trunk or Treat, Valentine’s Party, and other themed events.
Vacation Bible School, also known as VBS, is typically held during the month of June.
